Who We Are:
Wolken Therapy and Wellness (WTW) was founded in 2016 by Dr. Ryan J. Wolken, PT, DPT, with the goal to bring quality rehabilitation to rural Nebraska. Rural Nebraska has multiple rehabilitation needs with limited physical and occupational therapy providers.
With an aging rural population, urban provider growth, as well as increased travel distance for hospital-based healthcare, there is a growing need for outpatient physical and occupational therapy.
Dr. Wolken's vision was to create a rehab team that has small-town values and a passion for rural healthcare.
Three of our team members were recipients of a higher education scholarship program that helped them pursue their Doctorates of Physical Therapy. MARHOP (Dr. Ryan J. Wolken - Creighton) and RHOP (Dr. Cody D. Wisnieski - UNMC), (Dr. Casey R. Wisnieski-UNMC). The Mid-America Rural Health Opportunities Program and Rural Health Opportunities Program are cooperative programs with Wayne State College and Creighton University/UNMC dedicated to supplying rural Nebraska with healthcare providers.
What We Believe:
At Wolken Therapy & Wellness (WTW), we are focused on promoting and preserving the health and well-being of our patients in the Northeast Nebraska area. Our objective is to develop professional relationships with patients, colleagues, physicians, and members of our clinic's rural communities. We strive to become leaders in our community with the intent to have a positive impact and become the preferred provider in health, wellness, and rehabilitation.
What We Offer:
Wolken Therapy & Wellness (WTW) provides injury analysis, rehabilitation, and prevention using evidence-based practices in the evaluation and treatment of patients.
